Anthony Edwards Writing History For The Timberwolves

Anthony Edwards, a shooting guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves has become a well known name throughout the league. Edwards has become a dominant force for the Timberwolves, shooting from almost any spot on the court, and also utilizes his abilities by soaring through the air to throw down some nasty shots. Currently Edwards averages about 22.6 points per game, four assists and five rebounds.

Following the Timberwolves matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks, Anthony Edwards became the first player for the Timberwolves to reach 1,250 points and 250 assists in fewer than 50 games. Edwards surpassed these record numbers collecting 1,267 points and 256 assists, in his 49th game this season. He continues to prove everyone right, taking his game to new heights and breaking insane records.

The Timberwolves remain leading the Western Conference, and with Anthony Edwards on a record breaking bender the Wolves should have a solid record going into the play-offs. That being said Edwards may be a huge leader and asset to the team but he also has powerful teammates to back him up. Making the Wolves such a well balanced team, knowing if a player is having an off night they are able to rely on one another. Making this team very unpredictable.
