For the game, Brown sported the “Hall of Fame” Nike Kobe 5 where he dropped a career high 46 points in a tough 2OT loss 134-138 to The Knicks. This was Brown’s first game back from his COVID-19 diagnosis.

Brown's 46 points are the most ever by a Celtic in a season opener, surpassing the 35-point performances by Celtic greats’ Paul Pierce and Bob Cousy.
