113-112, Warriors Face yet another Extremely Close Loss

In a closely contested matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers, the Warriors maintained their lead for the majority of the game but ultimately were beaten out by the Kings, 113-112. Stephen Curry played a pivotal role, leading the Warriors with 22 points and contributing significantly in assists. However, the Warriors faced a familiar challenge as they squandered a substantial lead for the second time in the week, having lost a 24-point advantage against the Kings earlier. Despite a strong offensive performance by the Warriors, the Clippers, led by Paul George's 25 points, managed a comeback. Notably, Chris Paul was absent from the Warriors' lineup due to a lower leg nerve contusion, while Andrew Wiggins sat out due to finger soreness. 

Throughout the third and fourth quarters, the Warriors fouling, shot selection and turnovers allowed the Clippers to reign back in the lead and come away with the win.

Coach Steve Kerr said he felt like “we deserved to win tonight”, saying that blowing this lead hurt way more than their game against the Kings on Tuesday night. Blowing two 20+ point leads in a week definitely hurts. Figuring out a way to sustain these leads is something the Warriors have to do in order to come out on top during these closely contested games.
