As we get closer to this Saturday’s WWE Money in the Bank, the anticipation and excitement grows. Out of all the matches taking place The Bloodline Civil War showdown is one that can’t be missed because of all the events leading up to it as well as the implications it could have. Additionally, the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Matches have a plethora of superstars ready to take their career to new heights. It is worthy to note that this year’s Money in the Bank will take place live from the O2 arena in London, the first time the premium event has been held outside of the United States.

The past month has been a wild ride for The Bloodline as sides have been chosen and lines have been drawn. What once was a tight-knit group that seemed inseparable is now going to war with each other this Saturday. There were signs of cracks within The Bloodline for some time but it appears the situation was more dire than anyone thought as those cracks have now become crevasses. With Jey Uso making his decision to leave The Bloodline along with his brother Jimmy Uso this situation has taken a turn for the worse for the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Now there is a tag team match set that puts The Usos versus Reigns and Solo Sikoa. At Money in the Bank both sides will look to settle their differences in the ring but will either one of them seek to fix things in the aftermath or will things only get worse?

In the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match there will be seven participants looking to grab the coveted briefcase. The field of superstars include: Butch, Damian Priest, LA Knight, Logan Paul, Ricochet, Santos Escobar, and Shinsuke Nakamura. All of these superstars earned their spot in the showdown by winning a qualifying match, except for Logan Paul who was given a special invitation. If there is one superstar to watch out for in particular it would be LA Knight since he is on a hot streak heading into the match. Nonetheless, all of these superstars are in play for a career-altering night.

For the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match there will be six elite superstars facing off to see who can take home the briefcase and guarantee themselves a future Women’s title match. Within the field of superstars competing is Bayley, Becky Lynch, IYO SKY, Trish Stratus, Zelina Vega, and Zoey Stark. This life-changing clash has some animosity behind it especially between Lynch and Stratus. The two have had a heated rivalry ever since Stratus struck Lynch from behind the night they lost the Women’s Tag Team Championships. It seems along the way Stratus picked up a loyal friend in Stark and she has had her back since then. This type of animosity is exactly what could leave the door open for one of the other superstars to take the briefcase in the middle of all the chaos. If Lynch or Stratus want to win the match they will have to focus on climbing the ladder because if they do not then they will have no chance of winning.

The Money in the Bank premium event promises to deliver with these three stellar matches headlining the special day. It will take place this Saturday, July 1, at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT streaming exclusively on Peacock.
