Amongst the news Bret Hart will manage FTR at an Indie show this June, Dave Meltzer revealed why for this only event. According to Dave Meltzer in his latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bret Hart will only appear for this one event because of signing on the dotted lines of a “lucrative WWE contract” that would restrict Hart from appearing on AEW TV. Bret Hart appeared on AEW television revealing to fans the AEW Heavyweight Championship at Double or Nothing back in 2019. According to Wrestlingnews.co, Bret Hart was never asked about being apart of the Owen Hart Tournament currently taking place in AEW.
