Welcome to the Triple Threader, where we look at the top three stories from professional wrestling.

Full Gear Fallout

Saturday night’s AEW Full Gear show was nothing short of eventful. From Saraya’s first match in five years to the return of the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, to the crowning of three new champions with Samoa Joe’s TNT title win, Jamie Hayter’s AEW Interim Women’s title victory, and the most talked about triumph this week as MJF captured the AEW World Championship and cut a scathing promo at the media scrum after the show, which can be seen below.

KAIRI Makes History

Former WWE star Kairi Sane, now simply known as KAIRI, becomes the inaugural IWGP Women’s Champion at NJPW x Stardom Historic X-over by defeating Mayu Iwantani. The former NXT Women’s Champion was presented with the belt after the match by NJPW President Noaki Sugabayashi.

The Rattlesnake Responds

WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin has taken to Instagram to explain his recent training videos. There were previously reported rumors that he may be training to get back in the ring, taking the clips as omens. “I just simply looked in the mirror and realized I look like s***,” clarified the former WWE Champion as he detailed his workout routine and meal plan. Austin last wrestled at this year’s WrestleMania against Kevin Owens.
