Disorder in the Tribal Court

As a consequence of Undisputed Champion Roman Reignsโ€™ first pinfall loss in three and a half years at Money in the Bank, the Tribal Chief was the defendant in his own Tribal Court on SmackDown. After both he and the Usos stated their cases, the Head of the Table tried to plead with his cousins, even shedding a tear on bended knee as he spoke to them. The moment Jey showed some compassion for his relative is when Roman would deal him a low blow. The Chief as well as the Enforcer Solo Sikoa would lead a vicious assault, severely injuring Jimmy Uso. Jey went to the hospital to be with his twin brother, but returned to the arena later that night, getting vengeance on his own brother and cousin, and challenging the Undisputed Champ for a match while clutching Romanโ€™s title belt.

Rivalry Renewed

CM Punk and Samoa Joe squared off for the first time in 18 years on AEW Collision, with a spot in the Owen Hart Cup Tournament finals up for grabs. Heading into this past Saturday, their rivalry spanned 4 matches in Ring of Honor; two of them ending in time limit draws, and the other half with Samoa Joe being the victor. It was a thrilling match between the former AEW World Champion and the current ROH World Television Champion. Ultimately, it was a surprise cover from Punk that secured the win and a finals spot. Both men shook hands before Joe locked up Punk with a Coquina Clutch. Punk will face โ€œAbsoluteโ€ Ricky Starks in the finals of the tournament.

Eddie King-strong

This past Wednesday, NJPW Independence Day saw Eddie Kingston defeat KENTA to become the new Strong Openweight Champion, his biggest championship win ever in his career. A visibly emotional Kingston dedicated the victory to his parents and wrestling legend Terry Funk. He is set to take place in the G1 Climax running July 15 until August 13.
