Gold Fight

WWE has an exciting week ahead as they march toward the Royal Rumble. Tonight on Raw, Seth Rollins puts his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. This is the Modern Day Maharaja’s first major title shot in almost seven years. On SmackDown this week, Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns, along with Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and LA Knight will sign the contract for the Fatal 4-Way match for the Tribal Chief’s crown on the aforementioned premium live event on January 27, where the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches will take place.

The All-Elitists

On last week’s Dynamite, Samoa Joe found out that he has all comers going for him and his AEW World Championship. He’ll face one of them this Wednesday as he defends his belt against Hook, who has been a sensation since his debut 3 years ago as part of Team Taz. Also on Dynamite this week, Brian Cage and the Gates of Agony defend their Ring of Honor Six-Man titles against Bullet Club Gold, consisting of Jay White and The Gunns.

They’re Back

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling officially returned at the appropriately named “Hard to Kill” pay-per-view. New champions were crowned, surprises were revealed, and a riled up crowd in Las Vegas was on hand to experience the first premium event of the new TNA era. Ash by Elegance, the former Dana Brooke, appeared at the event, where Crazzy Steve defeated Tommy Dreamer for the Digital Media crown, Gisele Shaw won Ultimate X, Decay, consisting of Rosemary and Havok, took the Knockouts Tag Titles from MK Ultra, Jordynne Grace beat Trinity to win her 3rd Knockouts World Title, and Moose put away Alex Shelley to become the new TNA World Champion. After Moose’s win, Nic Nemeth, then known as Dolph Ziggler, surprised everyone when he showed up the newly-crowned champ, and celebrated with the fans in his newly found home in TNA Wrestling.
