Nyck De Vries to Exit Racing
After the F1 rookie was dropped by AlphaTauri after 10 races, he has taken an unexpected turn to education for his next steps. After being replaced by the Aussie, Daniel Riccardo, rumors flared up about a possible return to Formula E. This Dutchman surprised us all by enrolling in a course at Harvard. When asked about his exit, he stated:
βI had a lot of support and it actually went very naturally. I've been playing a lot of golf since thenβ
βI've never studied before in my life, in fact, I didn't even finish high school.β
βBut in September I'm going to take a course at Harvard. Negotiation and Leadership, a little bit of studying. More because I just like it now that I have some time and the interest to learn other things,β de Vries revealed.
This exit to education comes weeks after former F1 driver, Nicholas Latifi announced he would be starting his MBA in London at the London Business School.
De Vries is not the only one on the Paddock to go to Harvard recently, as Team Boss of Mercedes, Toto Wolff will be teaching a course at the Harvard Business School for MBA students in January 2024.
