Griner Has A Doctor’s Note For Marijuana

I know you've heard the name Brittney Griner a lot in the past few months, whether on television, social media, or even word of mouth. Griner faces up to ten years in prison for bringing illegal substances through an airport in Russia.

Update on her trial while being locked up in Russia, Griner, also known as BG, pleaded guilty on July 7 on accounts of bringing cannabis in vape cartridges throughout the airport while playing overseas. A few days after pleading guilty, it came out that Griner had a doctor's note for cannabis. Griner's doctors note was prescribed marijuana use for her pain. In Russia, marijuana is legal if used for medical purposes. BG's lawyers presented evidence that following day of pledging guilty that drug tests didn't detect any prohibited substances in Griner's system.

With this, we assume that Griner will come home soon. Evidence is shown, and justice will be served.

Update: The Biden Administration has offered a deal to Russia to bring Griner home. Further details are unknown.
