Dream defeat sky 82-68

The Atlanta Dream beat the Chicago Sky 82-68 during their matchup on Friday. This game remained close up until the fourth quarter when the Dream began to run away with it. At the start of the 4th quarter the score of the game was 59-58 with the Dream barely ahead, but a 3-pointer made by Allisha Gray started what would become a 10-0 run for the Sky which turned into a 13-0 run after a 3-pointer by Dream forward Rhyne Howard.

Gray would finish the game with 21 points and Howard finished with 17 points, each grabbing 5 rebounds as well. The Dream would outscore the Sky 23-10 to close the game out and win their fourth in a row.

With 2:06 remaining in the game Chicago Sky guard Marina Mabrey scored a 3-pointer to put the Sky within 10 points of the Dream, but this would be the last points scored by the Sky for the remainder of the game. Mabrey finished the game with 14 points, making three 3-pointers on eight attempts.

After winning their previous three games, the Sky have fallen to 8-10 and are currently 5th in the Eastern Conference. These two teams will return to Chicago to face off again this Sunday night.
