16 players from the AL East division were selected to represent the American League in the 2023 MLB All-Star Game. Two of these selections, Aaron Judge and Shane McClanahan, did not participate due to injuries. Four of these selections were starters of the Midsummer Classic including Randy Arozarena, Austin Hays, Yandy Diaz, and Gerrit Cole.
