Women’s World Cup
The Men’s World Cup recently came to an end, with Argentina being the champions of the 2022 World Cup. Now, we look forward to the 2023 Women’s World Cup, which will be held from July 20 to August 20. Australia and New Zealand will be co-hosting the ninth Women’s World Cup.
The qualifiers are Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China PR, Colombia, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Korea Republic, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Philippines, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, Vietnam, and Zambia. These 29 teams have already claimed their spots. The other three teams will be determined at the February playoffs, bringing the total to 32.
The playoffs will be Group A, B, and C. Group A playoffs consist of Cameroon, Portugal, and Thailand. Group B playoff consists of Chile, Haiti, and Senegal. Lastly, the Group C playoff consists of Chinese Taipei, Panama, Papua New Guinea, and Paraguay. If you are interested in watching, you can watch through Fox and in Spanish on Telemundo Deportes.
