Suffering what seemed to be an effortless 3-0 win for Barcelona against Celta Vigo in the first half, it ended up being drawn overall. The players during the second half seem to be flushed with emotions declaring in the back of their minds an easy win, but what awaits them a hungry and determined Celta Vigo team whose spirit’s were yet depleted, it was clear to see the player’s not fully immersed into the game which is something that Barcelona needs to focus on, the player's mentality to win, to fight and keep pushing until the 90th-minute whistle is blown.
Days after drawing with Celta Vigo, Barcelona’s former soccer player Xavi Hernandez entered the scene as their new manager. How well will Xavi progress with his new role at Barcelona?

They seem to have been stuck in this dark hole that they’ve dug themselves in. Is he the answer to Barcelona's needs? The light in which Barcelona so desperately desires, only time will tell. Considering Xavi Hernandez is arguably one of the best midfielders Barcelona has ever witnessed, alongside Messi and Iniesta. The trio once dominated the midfield with elegance and passionate fútbol. He has lived up to the stature of “Barcelona's Greats”, but will his experience once as a captain and now as a manager is enough to fuel the players and shape them back to Barcelona's style of fútbol.
There are many questions and false hopes in regards to the new signing of Xavi Hernandez. Will Xavi be able to address the following players and lift their spirits between matches? Will he be able to express himself and connect through the players of the game in which he understands and was taught previously?

Xavi states the following after being interviewed on his first day back with Barcelona. “We can adjust our system since we understand the game as a positional one. We aim to press high, recover the ball in our opponent's half, be a hard-working squad, and generate opportunities. I'm not making any discoveries; that's Barca's DNA. We are a competitive squad that strives to give our best on the pitch, and we are Barca, therefore we must win every game.”
The team has a long way to go before they’re back to the confident possessive game they were once known for. With the help of Xavi, Barcelona may be able to recoup the loss of what was once the most beautiful game Barcelona has played, possession and dominance, entertaining the crowd with their astonishing plays. Xavi is well experienced with the game of Futbol, possessing Barcelona's DNA deep inside him. Needless to say, Barcelona is in great hands. “Visca Barca”!!!
