Tottenham Going All Out For Conte

Tottenham Hotspur recently announced their latest signing: Richarlison from Everton. The Brazilian forward will sign for Spurs with a fee of £60 million; contract until 2027. He will become the Spurs’ fourth signing this summer, after Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, and Yves Bissouma - a signal that the Spurs’ board is showing full support for Antonio Conte’s project.

Richarlison has proven to be a quality player in his previous years with Everton and the Brazilian national team, despite Everton’s struggles last season. Richarlison is just 25 years old, already has Premier League experience, and can operate as both striker and winger. As a result, Conte will have another attacking option to add to the Spurs’ successful offense last season, consisting of Heung-Min Son, Harry Kane, and Dejan Kulusevski.

Fraser Forster is another experienced player in the Premier League who would be a great fit for the Spurs because he’s willing to be the second-option goalkeeper behind Hugo Lloris. Yves Bissouma can bring the energy and pressure to the midfield, which he had been doing in his years with Brighton. For £30 million, Spurs had just gotten themselves a great all-rounder. Ivan Perisic will be playing in the Premier League for the first time in his career - but the 33-year-old Croatian has already worked with Conte at Inter. He will fit right in the left wing-back position in Conte’s formation. Overall, Spurs’ signings this summer have been already-proven players, which shows their ambition for a spot in the title race.

Djed Spence from Middlesbrough and Clement Lenglet from Barcelona are the next potential targets for Spurs to improve their defense - both deals are very likely to happen soon. If Spurs can manage to keep Kane and Son part of Conte’s project, they are on the right path to becoming a real caliber squad.
