Previewing Summer 2022 World Soccer Transfers
With the financial effects of the Coronavirus pandemic starting to substantially slow for professional sports teams, we can expect a summer where numerous clubs will make signings as soon as the clock strikes midnight on May 31. Starting the opening of the transfer market, and the World Cup being this winter, clubs are starting their domestic seasons earlier.
Aurelien Tchouameni | Monaco: Midfield, Market Value: 44 million Euros
Rumored to have offers from Liverpool and Real Madrid, with both clubs being expected to pay 80 million euros to sign the player, the French international is one of the up-and-coming stars on the intentional team which won the UEFA Nations League in 2021. Tchouameni made 35 appearances for Monaco in Ligue 1 this season scoring three goals and has already played eight times for France. As of May 24, Tchouameni was said to have agreed to a deal to go to Real Madrid.

Pau Torres has been linked to numerous clubs including Manchester United, Tottenham Hot Spurs, Chelsea, and even Barcelona. Reportedly, Rudiger has already agreed to sign with Real Madrid its believed according to The Athletic that Rudiger will earn between 9 and 10 million euros a per year after tax plus his signing on fee this is significantly more than he was being paid at Chelsea.
Paulo Dybala| Free Agent Market Value 44 million Euros
Dybala has been linked to a move to the premier league for years. In 2015-17 he was rumored multiple times with moves to Manchester United. Now however, he is rumored with a move to Tottenham Hotspurs, Chelsea, or Arsenal.

In what would perhaps be one of the transfers of the summer, the 25 year old De Jong is an option for Barcelona to sell if the need to raise money to improve their squad. Barcelona is interested in numerous players like Rueben Neves, Robert Lewandowski, Bernardo Silva, and Marcos Alonso to finance these signings the club have to sell to buy. The Dutch international is rumored to have multiple teams interested including Manchester United, PSG, and Manchester City. United is believed to be the likely destination due the players previous connection to new United manager Erik Ten Haag.

Darwin Nunez| Benfica: Striker, Centre Forward, Market Value: 44 Million
The Uruguayan International has drawn multiple comparisons to that of prime Edison Cavani. Although Nunez is not currently in his prime the Benfica star was sensational during champions league games. According to Fabrizio Romano the Uruguayan will 100 percent leave Benfica this summer.
