Welcome to NXT-GN, a series where I will do a profile on the upcoming youngsters who possess immense potential and are destined for superstar level.

The first name up is someone who is already world-class and is becoming a well-known name around the world, Jude Bellingham.

Borussia Dortmund’s Bellingham has established himself as one of the best midfielders and looks set to be one of the best players in the world for years to come. The 19-year-old has also established himself as a Dortmund and England regular, even captaining the former in recent games at such a young age.

Bellingham first burst onto the scene at his boyhood club Birmingham City, becoming a regular starter at 16 and even having his jersey already retired by the club.

His impressive performances earned him a big-money move to Borussia Dortmund, where he has grown and flourished as a player. Bellingham’s awareness, maturity, composure, technical ability, athleticism, and high IQ have made him a complete midfielder. His ability to attack and defend at such a high level makes him an important asset at the club and international levels.

Here is a glimpse of how talented the 19-year-old is and how impressive his stats have been.

Similar Player Profile: Yaya Toure

I believe Bellingham is very similar to Manchester City Yaya Toure. They are both athletic, powerful, and technically-gifted midfielders who can play everywhere across the midfield. However, I believe Bellingham will surely surpass the heights of Yaya Toure.

It’s no surprise that all the big clubs in the world are after Bellingham. His current ability and his future potential make him a must-get player, and the big clubs will all surely battle it out to secure his services. He is destined for the big-money move in the upcoming 2023 summer transfer window. Bellingham has performed on the biggest stages, like the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League.

Up next is the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. All eyes will be on the 19-year-old to perform on the biggest stage again. The sky is just the beginning for the lad from Birmingham.
