Match Recap: Clash Of Two Titans as Liverpool take on Manchester City

A spectaluary game from both teams as they start their race for the top of the Premier League. Manchester City, last season's reigning champs face off against Liverpool who are ever so eager to take the win off last year's winners.

As the match unfolds in Anfield Stadium, home to Liverpool FC. Both teams begin to feel out the pace of the game, analyzing the flow, gaining possession, and attacking with every opportunity they manage to create.

Foden and Salah were extraordinary as the game came to life in the second half.

Liverpool takes the lead thanks to a sensational strike from Sadio Mane who was beautifully assisted by Mohamed Salah, taking the ball from their own halfway line skipping past Cancelo. Salah squeezes the pass to Mane, which allowed him to easily find the back of the net with ease.

Only minutes after Phil Foden receives a sought out pass from Garbrel Jesus from the midfield, giving Manchester City some breathing room as they tie the game. The ball finds Foden on his left foot as he takes a wonderful first touch and drills it past the far post.

Mohamed Salah soon after delivers a sensational solo performance, dribbling past not one, not two, but three defenders inside the box to take the lead from Manchester City as he places the ball with power at the far side of the net.

As time runs out for Manchester City to find an equalizer after Salah scored a masterpiece of a goal, Kevin de Bruyne finds himself in a great position as he takes a few steps to settle into his form and strikes on a wandering ball just outside of the 18 yard box he equalizes with a stunning goal. Which would lead to both team’s drawing.

In the end, a reasonable outcome from both teams, each capable of a win. Individual players raised to the occasion like Salah & Bernadro Silva who showed excellent class in the midelfied. Mane gave Liverpool the lead at the start of the second half before Foden leveled the score. De Bruyne's deflected shot neutralized Salah's spectacular solo goal. Liverpool are still the only undefeated team in the Premier League. Will they be able to remain unbeaten and surprise their 2020 season record of just three losses, only time will tell.
