LONDON - Summer is finally upon us, which means the summer transfer window is open. Rumors are flying around about Tottenham Hotspur’s leading striker Harry Kane and whether he’ll leave or stay this summer. With all the rumors swirling around, it’s hard to know the truth. Although time will tell where he goes, there are four most likely destinations for Kane this summer.

Harry Kane to Manchester United

While Manchester United definitely need a striker, there are significant doubts about them spending $107 million (€100 million) on Kane when they could sign a younger player for cheaper. Rasmus Højlund has also been linked to Manchester United, and would cost way less with Atalanta wanting $43 million (€40 million) for Højlund. Making the deal even more unlikely is that Tottenham Hotspur could be less likely to sell Kane to a Premier League rival.

Harry Kane to Bayern Munich

There’s no doubt that Bayern have needed a striker ever since Robert Lewandowski left for Barcelona in 2022. The hole left by Lewandowski was all the more present in some of Bayern’s struggles this past season. Kane would definitely fit the bill for Bayern. The only stumbling block in this potential deal is that Bayern may not be willing to pay Tottenham’s $107 million asking price.

Harry Kane to Real Madrid

After Karim Benzema’s departure to Al-Ittihad, Real Madrid will need someone to fill his role for next season. In terms of need, this deal would make sense. However, there are reports that owner Florentino Perez and Manager Carlo Ancelotti are disagreeing on whether to sign Kane, with Kylian Mbappé being a key factor in their disagreement.

Harry Kane Staying at Tottenham Hotspur

While it may seem unlikely at first glance, Kane could very well end up staying at Tottenham Hotspur for another season. This would be less because of a lack of suitors and more so because of his age and the fee required to sign him. It wouldn’t be too surprising if clubs were unwilling to spend $107 million on someone who will turn 30 years old in July.
