LONDON, U.K. - The Premier League may have started last week, but predictions are still swirling about how each club will perform this season. While the Premier League cannot be completely predicted, here are the most likely results for this season.

Champions League Qualification (Top 4):

1. Manchester City

2. Arsenal

3. Newcastle

4. Liverpool

Arsenal, Newcastle United and others will all look to challenge Manchester City for the title. One aspect to keep an eye on is how Newcastle copes with the additional games from qualifying for the Champions League.

Europa League Qualification:

5. Manchester United

6. Aston Villa

Although Manchester United has a good chance of qualifying for the Champions League, clubs like Arsenal, Newcastle and Liverpool could create problems for Manchester United this season. Aston Villa will improve on their finish last season after their incredible recruitment this summer.

Europa Conference League Qualification:

7. Chelsea

With an aura of change in the air, Chelsea signed numerous talented players and appointed a new manager this summer. More importantly, they sold some of their unhappy players such as Christian Pulisic, Mason Mount, and Kai Havertz.

Bottom Three:

18. Bournemouth

19. Sheffield United

20. Luton Town

For the bottom three, newly-promoted Sheffield United and Luton Town will be heading back to the championship. As for Bournemouth, they will end up on the worse side of a relegation battle.

Young Player of the Season: Buyako Saka (Arsenal)

In recent seasons, Saka has been on another level for Arsenal. It is likely that he will continue his impressive form and finally beat out the other young Premier League stars.

Player of the Season and Golden Boot Winner: Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

Both awards could be closer races than they were last season, but Erling Haaland is a force to be reckoned with. Clubs have had the summer to try to adjust to Haaland’s style of play, but will it be enough to stop him this season?

Top Assister: Martin Ødegaard (Arsenal)

Kevin de Bruyne would stand a good chance if not for his recent hamstring injury leaving him out for up to 4 months. Ødegaard possesses the potential to be Arsenal’s creator and provide a lot of assists.

Golden Glove Winner: Nick Pope (Newcastle United)

Simply put, Pope possesses the quality and ability to win the award this season. As if that wasn’t enough, he will head into this season with a solid defense in front of him.

Best Signing: Sandro Tonali (AC Milan to Newcastle United)

One of the most impressive signings of the summer has to be Newcastle’s capture of Sandro Tonali from AC Milan. Tonali will slot in well alongside Bruno Guimarães and Joelinton. He will improve even further under manager Eddie Howe.
