Arsenal

A team that was predicted in the fourth-to-sixth place range in the league has been bossing the Premier League. Arsenal is having their best start to a season ever in the Premier League. They hit 50 points faster than any other Arsenal team, including the Invincibles.

This has led them to a five-point lead at the top of the table with a game on hand over title contenders Manchester City. Led by the play of youngsters Bukayo Saka and Martin Ødegaard, Arsenal will look to reclaim the Premier League title after 19 years in the second half of the season.

Newcastle

Another positive surprise has been Newcastle, who have only lost one game and are in third place. After being bought by new ownership and the cash flow that has come with it, Newcastle has totally changed its fate.

Manager Eddie Howe has transformed the team into one that rarely concedes, allowing only 11 goals, which is a league low. They have struggled to score, which has led to them having nine draws, a league-high.

With star striker Alexander Isak returning after injury, Newcastle will hope the goals will come with his return. After a bottom-half finish last year due to their terrible start, the Magpies will look to reclaim their former prominence in the Premier League and finish in a Champions League Position.

Fulham

A team many thought would be fighting to stay up in the league has far surpassed everyone's expectations. They have found themselves in seventh place, led through the spine of the team by Aleksander Mitrovic, Joao Pahlinha, and Tim Ream.

Fulham has won four out of their last five and will be impressive if they can keep their form going. Sitting above two of the big six teams in the Premier League, Fulham will look to finish in the table's upper half and possibly in a spot to play in European competitions next year.

Brighton

After losing their manager and many of their best players, Brighton was expected to struggle, but they have flourished instead. Roberto De Zerbi has led the Seagulls to another unexpected start. They have been the biggest surprise outside of Fulham.

Brighton seems to find contributions from everyone. Players like Mitoma, Pascal Gross, and Solly March have all been crucial to their success this year. They are in sixth place and will look to fight for the top four and at least hold their spot to play in European competitions next year.
