Arsenal Beat Leeds 4-1

Arsenal F.C gained a much needed three points against relegation fighters Leeds United. A contest that was decided within ten minutes after halftime when Arsenal took a 3-0 lead over Leeds. Gabriel Jesus was the star of the show, scoring twice. It was his first goals in over six months after getting injured during the world cup.



The Brazilian won a penalty in the 35th minute which he converted as Bukayo Saka, the normal penalty taker, was resting. Jesus also found the back of the net to put the game away.

Ben White also had a goal in the 47th minute after a beautiful ball from Gabriel Martinelli. The Swiss international Granti Xhaka also bagged a goal from a header, which he flicked past Meslier to give Arsenal the three points.



Leeds were missing USMT captain Tyler Adams who is most likely out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury that requires surgery.



With nine games left for the Gooners they hold an eight point lead over Manchester City who have a game in hand. The two title contenders still play each other at the Etihad. Arsenal have to travel to Anfield and face an inconsistent Liverpool side. Manchester City handled Liverpool this past weekend with a score line of 4-1 as well. The title race may be decided by the games against Liverpool and Manchester City.
