Vegas Loses ANOTHER Key Player After Win-Streak

After starting the 2021 season with a surprising 1-4 record, the Vegas Golden Knights have found a recent stretch of success winning 3 straight. However, Vegas’ 3 wins did not come without further damage to their already depleted roster, as (F) William Karlsson is expected to miss “roughly” 6 weeks with a broken foot, Per Jesse Granger.

Via CBSNHL, The Golden Knights now have Karlsson out long-term until “at least” 12/14/21, Max Pacioretty until 11/27, Alex Tuch until 1/29/22 with Nolan Patrick & Mark Stone potentially being available on or after 11/2/21.

Injuries can always be crushing for a team but ‘Wild Bill’s’ injury comes at a time when the Knights are now looking to gain some much needed ground in the Pacific Division. Though Karlsson didn’t provide much offense (1-2-3 in 8 GP) for VGK as we’re so used to seeing, Vegas will once again have to shift around their lines to see what works.

Vegas’ Upcoming Schedule:

  • @ Maple Leafs

  • @ Senators

  • @ Montreal

  • @ Red Wings
