Tough Week For Bruins

The Boston Bruins had a tough start to the week with a 4-3 shootout loss on Monday against the Colorado Avalanche. Bruins Captain Brad Marchand scored two goals, one in the first period and one in the third period. After 3 rounds, the Avalanche’s Valeri Nichushkin scored the only shootout goal, winning them the game.

The Bruins’s Tuesday game also came to an unfortunate end with an overtime loss of 4-3 to the Arizona Coyotes. The game winning goal came in overtime shortly after Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark was replaced by Jeremy Swayman due to a lower-body injury. Also sustaining an injury in Tuesday’s game was Bruins forward Matthew Poitras with a shoulder injury early into the third period.
