It seems the Flyers have managed to make themselves number three in the whole Metropolitan Division. This is odd because all of the analysts had pegged the Flyers to be bottom three for pretty much the entire year. With a tough 3-1 loss to the Rangers and another 4-1 loss to the Hurricanes, these scores do not represent how the Flyers played. Defense was diving and blocking shots like no one has ever seen. The Flyers have also had the most camaraderie that I have seen in a long while. The Flyers are beginning to become competitive with top Stanley Cup contenders. If the 4-3 overtime win against the Golden Knights was any indication, they can be just as competitive, if not more so than any Stanley Cup team.
