Zadina ended the 2022-2023 season with three goals and seven points in a total of 30 games.

Throughout Zadina’s five seasons in the NHL, he scored 28 times and recorded 40 helpers for 68 points in 190 games. The winger also has a career shooting percentage of 7.4 percent. He was also drafted sixth overall in 2018.

Zadina was once considered one of the purest goal-scorers in the 2018 NHL draft class, but he hasn’t found that type of success in The Show. However, by joining the Sharks, Zadina should get more opportunities to become a capable two-way player and find a role for himself in the league.

The Sharks now have 23 signed players on their active roster and about $5.4 million in cap space.
