San Jose Sharks Finally Win

bnn.network

The San Jose Sharks were on an 11-game losing streak which tied for the longest skid to start an NHL season. They finally won last night 2-1 against the Flyers. If they lost last night they would have been the first team ever in the NHL to start with a 12-game consecutive losing streak. The Sharks came out last night with a goal by Anthony Duclair less than two minutes into the game. They then continued this lead with a power play goal by William Eklund in the second period.

Moving into the end of the second, Joel Farabee scored for the Flyers. Unfortunately for the Flyers, the Sharks held on to their lead through the third period and got their first win of their NHL season. Tomorrow will be the Sharks’ chance to start a winning streak against the Edmonton Oilers.
