New York Rangers defenseman K’Andre Miller has agreed to terms with the New York Rangers to sign a two-year, $3.87 million annual average value (AAV) contract extension.

Miller was drafted 22nd overall by the New York Rangers in the first round of the 2018 entry draft. Since completing his entry-level deal, Miller has been a restricted free agent. Miller scored nine goals, and 34 assists in the 79 games he played, making it a career-high season for the defenseman.

According to CapFriendly, this leaves the New York Rangers with around $2.3 million in cap space, and Alexis Lafrenière as a restricted free agent.
