Ottawa Senators Struggling in Stacked Division

There’s no denying that the Ottawa Senators are having a bad season. We’re at about the halfway point of the current 2023-24 NHL season, and the Senators are last in the Atlantic Conference by 6 points. They are also in 29th place overall in the NHL this season. They are 3-6-1 in their last 10 games, with their Saturday game coming to an unfortunate overtime 2-1 loss against the Winnipeg Jets.

All hope is not lost, however, as they can still turn their season around and finish with a respectable number. With the recent signing of center Shane Pinto to a one-year $775,000 deal, Pinto could be what the Senators need to salvage what’s left of whatever they can hang their hats on.
