Injury Update
Yet again, it looks like the Flyers can’t catch a break from injuries. Last week, Marc Staal sustained an injury to his rib, that is leaving him out of the action for at least 4-6 weeks. Right before the season started, Ramus Ristolainen sustained some sort of injury that has yet to be disclosed. From the looks of it, he’s going to be out longer than what was previously thought. He was supposed to be back in the lineup during the game vs. the Golden Knights and had been skating with the team during practices, but coach John Tortorella said some sort of setback occurred and is being as cryptic as ever. There is no new timeline for Ristolainen
Now there is a new setback, Carter Hart left the game Wednesday night about halfway into the first period with an undisclosed injury. From the looks of it, it seems to be a problem with his leg after it got slammed upon by the opposing team’s offense. There is still no news on what his injury is, and how long he will be out for. Sean Couturier also left toward the end of Wednesday night’s game against the Sabres. This was labeled as a mid-body injury, and no other information was given. Hopefully this is nothing too serious and Carter and Sean will be back soon.
