Falling Into the Shark Tank

sportstalkphilly.com

Tuesday night was an embarrassing night for the Flyers as they fell 2-1 to the 0-9-1 sharks. Everyone knew the Sharks had to win a game at some point this year, but the Flyers did not want to be their first victim. It was with overwhelming odds that the Flyers were supposed to win that game. Sean Couturier was also back in the lineup, so this should have been a no-brainer. There were 18 penalties and misconducts called that night, so of course it was a little hard for either team to gain any momentum. Scott Laughton and Travis Konecny both received a 10-minute misconduct in the third period for some kind of scruff that happened at the very end.

The Flyers look to redeem themselves Friday night against the Anaheim Ducks. In the last match against the Ducks, the Flyers lost 7-4. Samuel Ersson was in net. This is going to be the same setup tomorrow night but, hopefully, with a different outcome.
