Should the Cowboys Move On from Dak Prescott?

ARLINGTON, Tex. (PSF) - There has been a lot of talk about the Cowboys moving on from Dak Prescott. Prescott seems to not be enough to take the Cowboys far into the playoffs.

There are fans who are upset with his under-performance this season and want to move on from him next offseason. Prescott has quite a while left in his contract but the Cowboys can move on from him to save some cap space.

This might not be a move the Cowboys want to make because they already paid him a lot so far, but they can possibly draft a young QB in the next draft and have him be mentored by Prescott until Prescott’s contract is up and can move on to the new QB to takeover the team and hopefully bring them far.

There has been recent news as well that they will keep Prescott and sign him to a new long term contract this offseason.

Stephen Jones of the Cowboys said they plan to extend him and want him as their QB. They do not want to move on from Prescott too soon and their chances of getting a good QB with a late first round pick is not looking good so they may just want to ride with Prescott until they get that chance.
