Who Has the Best Wide Receiver Core in the NFL?
Cincinnati, Ohio (PSF) - The Bengals have arguably the best wide receiver core in the NFL. With 2021 Offensive Rookie of the Year Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd. Ja’Marr Chase has already proved himself as one of the best deep threats in the NFL. With only playing 12 games in the 2022 season he was a Pro Bowler, had 87 receptions, 1,046 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns. In 2021 Chase led the league with eight touchdowns thrown over 20 yards. Also, ranked third in yards after the catch for wide receivers.
In the 2022 season Tee Higgins played all 16 games, had 74 receptions, he had 1,029 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. This ranks him in top three for receiving yards for wide receiver two. He is a great second option and is always a very valuable and trustworthy receiver. If Tee Higgins was on some other teams he would be the wide receiver one.
Tyler Boyd is the wide receiver three. In 2022 he accumulated 58 receptions, 762 receiving yards, and five touchdowns. Tyler Boyd is one of the better wide receiver three’s in the league. He is always a very reliable source for Joe Burrow. He is a player that Joe Burrow can always count on in big situations.
