Eagles fans just had the best week an NFL fan could wish for. Not only did their beloved birds win, but dominate. The Eagles clawed through their hated rivals the New York Giants and did it in the most humiliating way possible, through Saquon Barkley. Barkley tore through his old team going for 176 rushing yards and a score. All Giants fans cried inside watching a former love, spurn them in a 28-3 obliteration. After all of the controversy surrounding Nick Sirianni, Eagles fans undoubtedly enjoyed drinking the tears of any Giants fan in sight.

The Bengals also beat a hated divisional rival last weekend, defeating the demoralized Browns, 21 to 14. This marks back to back wins for the Bengals saving their season, as they now sit at 3-4 on the year. The Cincinnati defense has come into their own these past two weeks only giving up 21 points and forcing three turnovers. Tee Higgins is finally back to his best as the former Clemson tiger racked up four catches for 82 yards and one touchdown. Joe Burrow has continued to play incredible and all the Bengals find themselves with all the momentum in the world. Unfortunately for them the Eagles won’t go down as easy compared to the likes of the Giants and Browns.

The Eagles game plan should be pretty simple, get the ball to Saquon Barkley. The former Giant has looked to be back to his best in Philly nearly averaging 110 yards on the ground per game. Barkley ranks 3rd in the NFL for rushing yards and despite Cincinnati’s surprising defensive performances as of late, they still rank 21st against the run. Even if the Eagles can’t get the run going AJ Brown’s return has been nothing short of spectacular, having 11 catches for 205 yards and two touchdowns in only two games since returning from a hamstring injury. The Bengals defense will certainly have a lot on their hands.

The Bengals have a plethora of weapons that they will be keen on utilizing themselves. Tee Higgins came back from a hamstring injury in week 3 and has gone into superb form as of late. Higgins has three straight games over 75 yards and in addition has three touchdowns in those games. Ja’Marr Chase continues to be the beast that makes opposing defensive coordinators stay up late at night. Chase ranks 1st in the league for receiving yards with 620. Joe Burrow continues to play exceptionally and this team is finally clicking after an abysmal 1-4 start.

This game looks to be a highly explosive affair, with both teams having a multitude of weapons on the offensive side of the ball. The deciding factor in this game will ultimately be the Eagles pash rush vs the Bengals offensive line. The Eagles have amassed 13 sacks in the two past games and against a weak Bengals offensive line, they surely will feast yet again. Expect a close and thrilling game, but the Eagles pash rush will just pull them over the line in Cincinnati on Sunday.
