Week 10 Power Rankings

9 weeks into the NFL season, and we are starting to see teams separating themselves from the rest of the competition. With that being said, here are my week 9 NFL power rankings.

1.      Buffalo Bills

Yes, the Bills are coming off a loss to Jets. However, this is the best team in the NFL and there’s not much debating that. With Josh Allen facing a possible UCL injury the team looks to capitalize in other areas of the field.

2.      Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs have one of the most loaded rosters in the league. Patrick Mahomes is one of the best players in the NFL. This team is always capable of anything with him at the helm.

3.      Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles have started 8-0 and Jalen Hurts is playing like an MVP. This team is great in every aspect of the game and doesn’t have much competition in the NFC.

4.      Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota has shocked the world this season. Kirk Cousins has looked elite, and Justin Jefferson, Dalvin Cook, and Adam Thielen have helped his effort. This team is legit and could give the Eagles a real challenge come playoff time.

5.      Dallas Cowboys

Cooper Rush stepped up big time in Dak’s absence to keep this team in it. However, the real reason this team is so high is because of Micah Parsons. Parsons has been the best defensive player this year. On a team that doesn’t have any real offensive threats, Parsons steps up to keep them competitive.

6.      Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson can do virtually anything on the football field. Trading for Roquan Smith gave this defense the help they needed, and the Ravens are starting to look like real contenders.

7.      New York Jets

Robert Saleh has been an amazing coach this year. This team has no true offensive threats, yet he has this team playing for a division title. The defense has been the true story for the Jets. This defense is one of the best in the NFL.

8.      San Francisco 49ers

The addition of CMC helped this team tremendously. If this team stays healthy, they could be a force to be reckoned with.

9.      Cincinnati Bengals

This feels like an appropriate spot for the Bengals. You never know which Bengals team will show up each week. They could win 60-20 or lose 7-0.

10.  Seattle Seahawks

Geno Smith didn’t write back. This team has looked legit this year, and Geno Smith is responsible.

11.  Tennessee Titans

The Titans are still trying to figure out their QB situation, but when Derrick Henry is on the team, there’s never a real issue.

12.  New York Giants

One of the biggest shocks of the season has been the Giants. They have looked good in almost every aspect of the game and look to continue this trend into the post season.

13.  Miami Dolphins

Adding Tyreek Hill to this offense really helped make this team look like a competitor. Mike McDaniel had been great for his first season and looks to take this team to the playoffs.

14.  Los Angeles Chargers

Brandon Staley has shown the world how bad he is at coaching a football team this year. This team has one of the best rosters across the league and has struggled to get to 5-3 where they sit today.

15.  New England Patriots

Early QB issues has led the Patriots to 5-4 and last place in their division, but they are from out of it. This team just makes things happen, as one would expect from Bill Belichick.

16.  Atlanta Falcons

Marcus Mariota runs the Arthur Smith offense perfectly. The Falcons sit in first place in their division and have seen many players step up throughout the course of their season.

17.  Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Extremely disappointing season for Tom Brady and company. Nothing has been clicking for them this year. However, their division is still wide open, and anything can happen in the playoffs.

18.  New Orleans Saints

Not great start for Dennis Allen in his first season as a head coach. There’s not much to say about this team, they have been disappointing in most phases of the game.

19.  Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have also been very disappointing this year. Coming off a Super Bowl championship, this team has looked very sluggish.

20.  Arizona Cardinals

Not the season the Cardinals had hoped for, but there’s still time to turn it around, given the weakness of the NFC this year.

21.  Green bay Packers

It might be time to move on from Aaron Rodgers. He hasn’t done a whole lot to help the team this year, and it is showing with their 3-6 record.

22.  Washington Commanders

Washington has looked surprisingly well as of late, but will it be enough to help them snag a playoff spot down the stretch.

23.  Cleveland Browns

Nick Chubb has been the only positive of this team so far. The Browns are poised to be the most hated team in the NFL once Deshaun Watson returns.

24.  Denver Broncos

Russell Wilson may have just stolen over 200 million dollars from the Broncos. Wilson has looked horrible this year, and it shows by the Broncos 3-5 record.

25.  Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders have no excuse to be this bad. Their roster is loaded, and they have a great passing game, in theory. Josh McDaniels may not have been as good of a hire as we all thought it was after all.

26.  Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jags started the season strong and quickly fell off. It will certainly be interesting to see what this team does over the off season, after getting Calvin Ridley at the trade deadline last week.

27.  Indianapolis Colts

Jeff Saturday has a lot to do before his first game as the Colts coach this Sunday. The colts don’t seem to have any real plan for the future right now. An experiment with Saturday could help them figure this out.

28.  Pittsburgh Steelers

One thing has been made clear for the Steelers; they need a new QB. Every QB on their roster is horrible. Trading Chase Claypool may help them tank even more to go after Bryce Young in this year’s draft.

29.  Chicago Bears

Justin Fields is horrible. This team needs some serious help to be competitive again, and it starts with a QB switch.

30.  Detroit Lions

Dan Campbell looked to have his guys ready in the preseason, but this changed throughout the course of the season. The Lions have a very competitive defense, but an injury plagued offense.

31.  Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are not a good team is this has been shown each week. Baker Mayfield is up in the air each week. They have np receivers. This team needs serious help just like the Bears.

32.  Houston Texans

Nothing is going right for this team, besides Dameon Pierce. They have a great young running back, but not much else. This is yet another team looking for a QB switch this off season.
