Trouble in Paradise For Tampa Tom?

Fox Sports Broadcasts

The Bucs are 2-0 and have won by a total of twenty six points in both of these games. But that definitely doesn't tell the full story of how this season has started off. Tom Brady might have the entire franchise in the dog house after how sloppy things have looked in weeks one and two.

Thrown tablets, expletives, fights, and dropped passes were the story for Tampa Bay on Sunday, but somehow they still prevailed 20-10 over the division rival New Orleans Saints.

Tampa was without star receivers Chris Godwin and Julio Jones entering this game, and boy could you tell. Brady saw multiple throws go in and out of the hands of the second and third-stringers he was slinging it to, which ignited him in rage on and off the field. Multiple times the quarterback was seen exiting the field of the play to the sideline screaming curse words in anger of the offense’s mediocrity. Throughout the first half and well into the second half, Tampa couldn’t get anything going on offense, but luckily their defense was getting the job done as well against what could be an explosive offense.

In Brady’s two prior seasons with the Bucs entering this game, they were 0-4 against the Saints. All four have been ugly games, with Brady only having four touchdown passes and eight interceptions in those games. Because of this record, it’s no secret this was one of the games Brady had circled on his schedule. A win is a win, like most say, but this was an ugly one. There were many mistakes committed by both the offenses and defenses of both teams, and Brady was visibly frustrated, among other players and coaches.

Now, though, the challenges they face just got that much harder. Mike Evans was slapped with a one game suspension, along with a fine, for his on field fight with Saints safety Marshon Lattimore. Along with this, Tampa receivers Chris Godwin and Julio Jones are also battling injuries and have been out for a week each. The Tampa run game with Leonard

Fournette has been strong to open up the season, but could face some troubles with the injuries that have been shaking up the Bucs’ offensive line. This could all be a recipe for disaster, if the team doesn’t respond accordingly. As of right now things aren’t going Tampa’s way, and definitely aren’t going the Brady way either.
