Richardson and Pass attack

Coming into Week 5 everybody knows about Anthony Richardson and his rushing attack and how deadly it can be, but the passing attack in head coach Steve Steichians offense attack could be a force in Week 5. As head coach Mike Verbal and the Titans defense is ranked 10th worst in passing defense as they have let up 241.6 yards per game (YPC). In previous game quarterbacks Derrick Carr, Justin Herbert threw for over 300 yards in the air. Richardson is coming off a showdown as he and the Colts had come back from a 23 point deficit and it was Richardson arm not his legs was the leading factor in that. On the game-tying drive he went 4 of 5 pass attempts for 65 yards and a touchdown and added a two point conversion. With the Colts locking up an extension with running back Jonathan Taylor the success of Richardson is on the rise and could benefit the rookie quarterback for the rest of the season.

Nobody should forget who running back Derrick Henry is and that he is still the main focus point for the success of the Tennessee Titans. In week 4 had his best game of the year in the 27-3 win against the Bengals and put up 122 yards on the ground and scored a touchdown. In his career he has had major success against the Colts, as since entering the league in 2016 Henry has had seven 100 yard game vs the Colts. The Colts run defense has been very poor this year as they give up almost 127 yards a game on the ground which is ranked in the bottom 10 of the league and should be exciting too see what the Titans running back can do in Week 5.

Perdiction

The Colts and Titans both teams who have played decent over the first month of the season. Both teams still haven’t found the groove of a winning streak just yet, but that could change this weekend and will depend too see if the Titans can slow down Anthony Richardson, and if the Colts can contain Derrick Henry and the rushing attack could be a great day to be a Colts fan. In the end the Titans edge the Colts 27-24 in a highly anticipated matchup of two AFC South divisional teams.
