New Orleans, Louisiana (PSF) - Earlier this week a report came out about Saints swiss army knife Taysom Hill hopes to evolve his receiving role in the Saints offense. For those who don’t know a lot about Taysom Hill, here is the breakdown.

Hill came into the league out of BYU as a quarterback and it did not work out to what he expected. Sean Payton saw something else in Hill and had him start lining up at tight end for certain personnel packages in the offense. It actually worked great and Taysom Hill got paid a huge contract for it, which is still a crazy contract to this day.

Taysom Hill has stepped up as an emergency quarterback, which he did not look great at, and started playing a lot more of wide receiver and running back this past season. I will give Hill the benefit of the doubt, he has had to carry the load quite a bit with Michael Thomas missing the last three seasons before Chris Olave was drafted. Hill is only getting older, so if he wants to evolve his receiving role then he needs to attempt to become a better receiver than what he already is.
