The Steelers kick off the month of December with a 20-19 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Entering the game, the Steelers knew this was a must-win game to keep their playoff hopes alive. Things started to heat up in the second as Ben Roethlisberger and company a tempted to mount a comeback. Early in the 4th quarter, Roethlisberger found receiver Diontae Johnson in the endzone for a 29-yard touchdown pass still trailing the Ravens 10-9. The Ravens strike back with a Justin Trucker 28-yard field goal to extend the lead 13-9. With only 1:48 seconds left in the game, the Steelers score a late touchdown and convert on a two-point conversion to take the lead 20-13. Lamar Jackson and company scored a late 4th quarter touchdown trailing 20-19. The Ravens attempt a 2-point conversion for the win Lamar Jackson throws the ball short to tight end Mark Andrews sealing the Steelers 20-19 win.

"We tried to win the game right there," Harbaugh stated after the game "We were pretty much out of corners at that point in the time. It was an opportunity for us to win the game right there".

Enter Sunday the Ravens secondary was riddled with injuries. Cornerback Marlon Humphrey left during the second half with an issue. Harbaugh decided to attempt the two-point conversion because of the injuries.

"T.J. Watt's got range" Jackson stated. "He's a long guy. I had to throw around him and try to make something happen. That's all just came up short."
