The Steelers playoffs hope takes a hit after losing in Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs controlled the game early with a Clyde Edwards-Helaire 1-yard touchdown run. Ben Roethlisberger throws an interception on the following drive setting up a 5-yard Byron Pringle touchdown run leading 14-0. The Steelers entered halftime scoreless trailing the Chiefs 23-0. The Steelers wouldn't put up any points until the late 3rd quarter with a Chris Boswell 34-yard field goal. Even with the game already decided the Steelers scored their first and only touchdown of the game by a 15-yard Diontae Johnson catch. The Chiefs go on to win 36-10 and clinch the AFC West.

"We didn't do enough in any phase to give ourselves a chance," stated Mike Tomlin "This is a collective, players and coaches, man. We own this. Now we have to get singularly focused on our two remaining division games."

The Steelers playoffs window is starting to close after this loss. The Bengals (9-6) are still leading the AFC North after an impressive win over the Ravens. The Steelers have two division games left and an opportunity to still make the playoffs.

"I mean, nobody likes losing. Nobody likes losing. But it happens. You can be frustrated, but you have to just focus on what we need to improve." – Steelers Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick
