Seattle - The Giants facedoff against the Seahawks this past Sunday. Both teams were going into the game on winning streaks. It was the only game this past week that two teams with winning records versed each other in the NFL.

The Seahawks secured the win 27-13, allowing them to expand their two game winning streak to three. This was a devastating loss the Giants as their four game winning streak was broken by a 4-3 team.

The win allowed the Seahawks to stay on top of the NFC West.

Seattle was on top of their game and knew exactly what their strategy would need to be in order to win the game. That being said, leading the team was Coach Carroll who helped the Seahawks succeed tremendously.

Going into their game against New York, Carroll was in the running for securing the highest amount of victories for a NFL team. He was preparing his team for a win in order to boost his win records in the standings and he did just that.

Against the Giants, Carroll secured his 168th win, which ties him with Bud Grant for 18th in the NFL all time victory list.

Looking at the Seahawks game, they were pretty much neck and neck with the Giants until the fourth quarter.

Tyler Lockett was having a tough time on the offensive end in the beginning of the game. He dropped a 33 - yard touchdown but bounced back with an open run down the sideline.

With nine minutes left is when Seattle started to play for the win. Lockett scored a touchdown with a throw from Smith, breaking the 13-13 tie in the fourth. Shortly after, Kenneth Walker III made a move and added a 16 - yard touchdown to secure their 27-13 win over New York.

Seattleā€™s main strategy was to put a stop to offensive powerhouse Saquon Barkley. They forced him to a season low of 53 yards on 20 carries which beat his previous low of 70 yards against the Green Bay Packers.

Giants Coach Brian Daboll even recognized the skilled game the Seahawks brought against his team.

Their ability to stop Barkley was impressive as he started the week with the most rushing yards in the NFL.

With a lack in running game, not only was Barkley put at a halt in his game, but so was Daniel Jones. With two of the Giants power players put on pause, New York was not able to make any big plays throughout the game, leading Seattle to their fifth win this year.
