San Fransisco, California (PSF) - It was announced that Sam Darnold will be the second string quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers after Brock Purdy has officially won the starting job. Purdy went undefeated in every start he had for the Niners and from what it looks like, he will continue to start. The Niners QB situation has not stopped them from being playoff contenders for the last two season.

Darnold’s career has seem to gone downhill as the years go by ever since leaving the Jets. He has lost a starting job with both the Jets and the Panthers. Can it be possible for Darnold to bring back his career as a great back up.
