Raiders Struggle; Fall to 0-3

Going into Week 3 the Raiders were 0-2,  and due for a matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Nissan Stadium. After leaving with 22-24 loss the new coaching change has shown itself as a struggling Raiders. After a need for a High end receiver the Raiders went out and got Davante Adams over the summer. Not only is he on pace for his lowest season total but the rest of the offense hasn’t picked up either.

After a bright year and expensive signing to keep TE Darren Waller the breakout season fans were hoping for hasn’t come into fruition yet.  The coaching change hasn’t helped either as Josh Mcdanials can’t seem to find a way to make these Raiders click. He’s been using Waller at uncomfortable distances, being asked to beat corners and safeties.  And after losing 4th year WR Hunter Renfrow to a concussion in Week 2 this wasn’t the start the Raiders were hoping for.

But before losing him to injury he hasn’t had that lanes that had appeared last year in his pro bowl season and without Adams acting as the certifiable deep threat he is, the field isn’t stretched and the full capabilities of this offense won’t be seen.

The other side of the ball hasn’t proved to be any better, with a 24th ranked defense the Raiders haven’t seem to click on that side of the ball either. After a 51 million dollar mitigation in Chandler Jones, he’s yet to record a sack in 3 weeks of play. This defense is dangerous, dont get me wrong. Especially with Crosby leading your defense, they have potential on that side of the ball. But as they continue to be utilized wrong on either side of the ball the team is going to struggle.
