Raiders Enter Win Column, Week 4 win against the Broncos
Week four held some good news for Las Vegas Raiders fans, in their home, Allegiant Stadium, they defended their turf against the Denver Broncos. A 32-23 win finally lets the Raiders enter the win column. The offense found life, especially with a 16 point second quarter, with points coming from Josh Jacobs’ legs, the special teams, and a 39-yard field goal made possible by Derek Carr’s rushing play before the end of the half.
Davonte Adams provided 100 yards of his own, behind Jacobs 144 yards and 2 touchdowns. Darren Waller wasn’t seen much, getting only 5 targets and getting 3 catches, for an uninspiring 24 yds.
The defense came together as well, getting three sacks and keeping the Broncos 3-11 on third down. With Maxx Crosby leading the way, he added two sacks and four tackles for loss. Despite three of Denver’s Wide Receivers finishing with more than 50 Receiving yards, a third quarter lockout let the Raiders run away with the lead late in the game. Russel Wilson looked better, finishing with a 17-25 night for 3 touchdowns, two in the air and one on the ground.
