Preview: Giants VS Cowboys

via Giants.com

It has been a hectic few weeks with rising cases of the new covid variant, omicron, spreading throughout the NFL. The NFL has updated their protocols by rescheduling 3 games, now making 2 Monday night games and 2 Tuesday night games (via NFLPA), but lucky for Giants fans this game remains on the 1 o’clock slate. Daniel Jones is still not cleared to play, meaning Mike Glennon will suit up for his 3rd straight start. Do not expect much from a deflated Giants team, hopefully the boos don’t echo too much. This Cowboys defense, led by rookie Micah Parsons, is 1st in 3rd down efficiency and gave up just 20 points to the Washington Football Team, forcing 3 fumbles and 1 interception. Not to mention 5 sacks, 2 of which came from Parsons. Now Parsons has had a sack in 6 straight games, putting him at 14 for the season, along with 102 tackles and 22 tackles for a loss. A lock for defensive rookie of the year, this kid could potentially win defense player of the year with these numbers.
