The Atlanta Falcons are a team that has several needs on their roster. The biggest need is obviously a quarterback. While Desmond Ridder has shown some flashes every now and then, it has become clear that he is not the answer for Atlanta’s quarterback issues. Another major issue that the Falcons have had for several years is the lack of a pass rusher. It has been a long time since the Falcons have had a premiere pass rusher, and it is time that they address this issue as well.

So, who are some players that the Falcons could potentially draft in the first round?

  1. Jayden Daniels, QB, Louisiana State

Jayden Daniels is the front-runner for the Heisman right now and is one of the most explosive and dynamic quarterbacks in college football history. He has accounted for 50 touchdowns this season and has a chance to be the next great LSU Quarterback in the NFL, following in the footsteps of Joe Burrow.

2. Laiatu Latu, DE, California, Los Angeles

Laiatu Latu has been one of the best pass-rushers in the country and would bring a dynamic force to a pass-rushing group that has struggled for many years.

3. Bo Nix, QB, Oregon

Bo Nix is an experienced QB who has seen it all at the college level. He is now having a Heisman-level season and has Oregon in the CFP race as well. Bringing in an experienced QB like Nix who has elite arm talent could do wonders for the Falcons offense.
