New England ends up making a suprising move as they add more depth to their quarterback position. Patriots have signed free agent quarterback Will Grier to the 53-man roster after placing Marcus Jones on injured reserved.

Grier has bounced around the league since he has been drafted by the Panthers in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. After playing in Carolina, Dallas and now Cincinnati, Grier has landed in Foxboro to add more room for the quarterback positon behind Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe.
