Patrick Mahomes Injury Update

Kansas City, MO (PSF) — As most of the sports world knows, Patrick Mahomes suffered a high ankle sprain in last weekend's game against the Jaguars. While he was shortly taken out of the game, he eventually returned and led his team to a win.

While Mahomes on one healthy leg may be better than a lot of quarterbacks with two healthy legs, an injured player is always one to keep an eye on. As of yesterday, Mahomes has logged two straight full practices and is looking better and better everyday. All indications point to him playing this weekend and leading his team out of the tunnel. While all signs are looking positive, one wrong move could easily re- aggravate his ankle. If I’m the Chiefs training staff, I’m wrapping that ankle up like there is no tomorrow and sending my franchise player out to lead the team to the Super Bowl.

Can the face of the NFL do it?

Tune into Chiefs vs Bengals Sunday at 6:30 PM ET to find out!
