The Tennessee Titans won in a nail biting overtime victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Tannehill and the offense had little to no movement getting into the endzone in the first quarter leaving big pressure on the defense. A late second quarter fumble by Tannehill put the Seahawks in perfect scoring position, in which they capitalized to go up 17 to 6 with about four minutes to go in the second quarter. Julio Jones had a big time catch in the endzone which would have put the titans back into the game before half, but was unfortunately overturned to both feet not being in the endzone. Derrick Henry recorded 182 rushing yards on 35 carries with three touchdowns, where one was early in the third quarter to bring the team morale back for the second half and the third one being the touchdown to tie the game for overtime. The Titans defense had a major stop leaving Russel Wilson at the one yard line which set the offense up in good field positions. Randy Bullock sealed the game with a 36 yard field goal. Julio Jones ended the game with six receptions for 128 yards, which according to sources put him at 13,000 reception yards for his career.

The defense played a huge role in the second half of the game coming from a 21-6 trail, to holding the Seahawks to no scores in the third quarter and only one score in the 4th quarter. Defensive leaders like Chris Jackson and Harold Landry lead the game in tackles with 13 yackles between the two. Defensive Lineman Ola Adeniyi was there for the sack on Russel Wilson at the one yard line which nearly was a safety. We can see that defensive coordinator Shane Bowen made some changes to the defense for the Seahawks.

Head coach Mike Vrable was happy with his team muscling back from a double digit deficit to come out with the win but wasn't ready to call it one yet as he says they still have to compete with thee colts. According to Seahawks.com Mike Vrabel stated “I hope they understand the importance of each and every week. I think that's a testament to the leadership of the football team. Like Derrick mentioned, we don't want to coach or work with front-runners. We want guys that are just going to battle and compete. It's tough to win in this league. It's really tough each and every week. We put a lot into it. When we land, we're going to have to be on to Indianapolis. We've got to be on to the Colts. How do we win at home? We're going to try and build on this, but we're going to treat this the same way whether we lost by double-digits or won in overtime." Coach Vrabel doesn't want fans and others to think that they will keep riding the wave of week two’s win, instead they’ll be focusing on the Colts for week three’s battle.
