The Deciding Factor for the Chiefs and Eagles

Glendale, Arizona (PSF) - The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles have dominated team’s week-after-week all year. That's why it makes sense that these two teams are facing off against each other in hopes of raising that Lombardi Trophy and adding a Super Bowl win to their franchise.

How can these two dominant teams all year dominate against each other? Looking at both rosters, it is truly hard to spot a weakness. While there might be minor ones, there aren't truly any holes in either of these squads. This tends to be the case with Super Bowl teams, but if the Chiefs or Eagles want to win this game, they each need to pull out a few moves that haven’t been seen before.  Let's take a look at the one major thing each team has to do to win it all.

While there are many things the Chiefs need to focus on to win, the one thing they must do is something basically no one has been able to do, stop Hurts. While they might not be able to stop him fully, they must contain him. They can’t let him escape the pocket consistently and become a dual-threat quarterback which he is so great at. By doing this, the Chiefs chances of winning drastically go up.

Looking at the roster, the Eagles seem like the more balanced and healthier team. While it seems to be known that Mahomes ankle is okay, it definitely is not fully recovered. Unlike the Chiefs containing Hurts, the Eagles must make Mahomes scramble. While Mahomes is basically amazing in every aspect of his game, scrambling on an injured leg isn’t what the Chiefs and their fans want to see. Eagles must take advantage of the injured Mahomes, and this is how.

Will the Chiefs contain Hurts?
Will the Eagles use Mahomes' injury to their advantage?
Whoever does, has a great chance of being a Super Bowl Champion.
